Eagle gymnasts top St. Peter

ST. PETER – New Ulm’s Michaela Otterstatter won the all-around title with a score of 34.35, giving New Ulm a win in its first South Central Conference meet against St. Peter Thursday.
Emily Gulden came in second for New Ulm in the all-around with a 32.25.
In vault, Michaela Otterstatter came in first with a 9.05. Allison Rosenhamer tied with Megan Overgaard for second place with a score of 8.95, and Molly Klimek came in third with 8.85.
Kim Berg of New Ulm came in first on bars with an 8.1. Otterstatter took second place with 8.025 and Gulden came in third with 7.8.
On beam, Otterstatter took first with 9.05, Gulden was second with 7.9, and Kirsten Spaude came in third with 7.85.
On floor, Klimek scored an 8.45 to get a first-place finish, Otterstatter scored 8.225 for second and Gulden got third with a score of 7.9.
New Ulm’s junior varsity defeated St. Peter 111.7-84.35
New Ulm will travel to Marshall Saturday for a tournament.
