GIBBON – David Graunke, 65, of Gibbon, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 11, at Clear Lake Baptist Church, Severance Township, Sibley County, with burial in the church cemetery. Military Honors by the Winthrop Honor Guard.
Reviewal will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
Memorials are preferred.
David Willard Graunke was born on Jan. 4, 1948, in Watertown, Minn., to Willard and Charlotte (Neisen) Graunke.
He entered active military service in the United States Navy on Sept. 1, 1968, and served during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged on July 20, 1972.
He is survived by his son, Daniel Wolsfeld of Fargo, ND; daughter, Alexis Graunke of Brooklyn Park, MN; stepdaughter, Niccole Plahn of Brooklyn Park, MN; four grandchildren; siblings, Danny Graunke of Howard Lake, Dale Graunke of Delano, and Jennifer Griffith of Cannon Falls; and father, Willard Graunke of Cannon Falls.
