ARLINGTON – Marvin Kopischke, 98, of Arlington, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at the Arlington Good Samaritan Center.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, at Zion Lutheran Church in Arlington, with burial at 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Morgan.
Visitation will be 3-6 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, at the Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington, and one hour prior to service time at the Church.
Marvin Kopischke was born in Morgan, on July 20, 1914, to Fred and Ernstine (Fenske) Kopischke. He enlisted in the U.S. Army during WWII. During his time in the Army, he worked on road construction in both Canada and Alaska, and his dedication earned him the rank of Technical Sergeant.
Marvin is survived by his wife Charlotte, stepsons; Allan Leach and Gordon Leach, and nine step-grandchildren.
