Kiecker receives Senior Accredited Minnesota Assessor Designation
HECTOR – Greg Kiecker of Hector received the Senior Accredited Minnesota Assessor Designation in September from the Minnesota State Board of Assessors. It is the highest license designation the State Board of Assessors grants.
Kiecker completed the required narrative on a residential property, successfully passed the eight-hour exam for the designation of Accredited Minnesota Assessor. He participated in an oral interview by the 14-member State Board of Assessor and Minnesota Department of Revenue. Kiecker then passed the eight-hour exam for senior accreditation.
The designation certifies Kiecker has successfully demonstrated skills in the area of farm appraisal techniques, residential appraisal, mass appraisal, income and commercial appraisal, lake shore property appraisal and required administrative and ethics courses. He has studied at the University of Minnesota, Kaplan University, the Minnesota Department of Revenue and the Florida Department of Revenue in conjunction with the IAAO.
Kiecker began his appraisal career with a rural Minnesota township near Fairfax. He has since appraised all classes of property in several jurisdictions in Minnesota.
