PREP BOYS’ BASKETBALL: Rabbits run past Greyhounds

WABASSO – The Wabasso boys’ basketball team had three players score in double figures in a 64-34 Tomahawk Conference win against New Ulm Cathedral on Monday.

The Rabbits did most of their damage in the first half, holding the Greyhounds to 13 points in the half to take a 36-13 lead into the break.

Seth Guetter scored a team-high 15 points for Wabasso. Neil Eichten added 14 points and Tanner Bock had a double-double with 11 points and 18 rebounds.

Jake Stadick and Jacob Gangelhoff each scored nine points to lead the way for the Greyhounds.

Cathedral (1-11) will play at Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Friday.

Wabasso (7-8, 5-3) will hit the road to take on Sleepy Eye on Friday.
