Madelia 30

HECTOR – Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart defeated Madelia in nonconference boys basketball Monday night.

Kyle Kubesh led BLHS with 19 points and Mason Clark finished with 15 points for the Mustangs.

Jordan Henry led Madelia with 12 points.

BLHS (8-6) hosts New Ulm Cathedral tonight and Madelia (2-12) is at Martin County West Friday.

Wabasso boys 68,

RCW 45

RENVILLE – Wabasso defeated Renville County West Monday in nonconference boys basketball.

Neil Eichten led the Rabbits with 22 points and Tanner Bock finished with 14 points, 16 rebounds and six steals. Matt Zeug and Scott Jenniges chipped in 10 apiece for the Rabbits.

Wabasso (8-9) is at Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Thursday.

MVL girls 60,

Fairmont 52, OT

FAIRMONT – Minnesota Valley Lutheran defeated Fairmont in overtime in nonconference girls basketball action Monday.

Sarah Burk led MVL with 14 points and 10 rebounds and Mariah Schoof finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. Larissa DeRousse finished with 10 points.

Kayla Lardy led Fairmont (6-11) with 20 points.

MVL (17-2) is at Sleepy Eye on Friday.

St.?Mary’s girls 60,

Sleepy Eye 44

SLEEPY EYE – Sleepy ?Eye St. Mary’s defeated Sleepy Eye in Tomahawk Conference girls basketball Monday night.

Maddy Helget scored 22 points and Devyn Meyer scored nine for the Knights.

Claire Krumbach led the Indians with 26 points and 11 rebounds and Justine Gonzalez finished with 10 points and four rebounds.

St. Mary’s (11-6, 7-4) is at Wabasso on Friday and Sleepy Eye (6-13, 2-9) hosts Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Friday.

Chelsey Guetter led the Rabbits with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Wabasso (16-2) is at Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop tonight.
