Knopke-Mooney recognized as outstanding physician
Amy Knopke-Mooney, M.D. was recently recognized as an outstanding physician in Minnesota Monthly magazine. This is the second year that she has received this award. The previous year she was recognized in the Mpls/St. Paul magazine as an outstanding physician.
Amy Knopke-Mooney, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care & Sleep Medicine. She graduated with highest distinction from St. Thomas University in St. Paul, then graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2001 with highest distinction. She completed her residency training at Hennepin County Medical Center in 2004 and her fellowship training at the University of Minnesota in 2007. She is a partner with Respiratory Consultants and contracts her services to North Memorial Hospital, which is a four-star hospital.
She is the daughter of Diane and Wayne Stolt and William Knopke, Sr. She is the granddaughter of the late Carl and Avery Knopke and Christian and Rita Seifert.
She is an avid runner and biker and completed her first triathlon in June 2012.
