NU Council will consider alcohol ordinance at amateur sports
NEW ULM – The New Ulm City Council will meet today at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall.
The Council will consider an ordinance that will allow the serving of alcoholic beverages in City facilities for amateur athletic events where the team members are at least 18 years old. The request for the ordinance came from the Goosetown Roller Girls, who want alcohol to be allowed at their home matches. Their team is entirely 21-years old and up.
The Council will also consider authorizing a purchasing agreement with Eagle Development, LLC for select portions of city property for the multi-family apartment building project.
