Christensen Farms appoints Glenn Stolt as CEO
SLEEPY EYE – Christensen Farms and Feedlots, Inc. has appointed Glenn L. Stolt as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) effective immediately.
Stolt was named interim CEO in November upon the death of Robert A. Christensen, founder and CEO of Christensen Farms.
Stolt, 46, joined Christensen Farms in 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Christensen Farms, Stolt spent nearly 20 years in various senior leadership positions with G&K Services, Inc. and the Toro Company after starting his business career with Honeywell International.
Stolt holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul. He grew up in New Ulm.
Lynn Christensen, chairman of the board of Christensen Farms, issued a statement in which he said the business will continue to operate as a privately-held, family-owned enterprise. He expressed confidence in its future success, given its operational expertise in animal agriculture, its focus on animal husbandry and its leadership team.
