Eagles trounce JCC Huskies, 17-2

JACKSON – New Ulm scored nine runs in the top of the fourth to easily defeat Jackson County Central 17-2 in five innings Friday in nonconference baseball action.

Chase Meyer earned the win, allowing three hits in three innings. He struck out two and walked one, allowing one run.

Meyer was also 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. Cole Dulas was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs and Judd Davis was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

New Ulm (1-0) hosts Marshall at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Park.
