Spring is not in the air
A robin, universally recognized as a sure sign of spring, sits on a snow-covered tree branch in Schonlau Park in New Ulm on Wednesday, in a scene that looks more like January than April.
The wintry blast from Mother Nature was expected to continue Wednesday night and today. Snow accumulations of 13-14 inches were predicted.
Meanwhile, snow blowers and their operators, like this one near the AMPI building on North Broadway, cleared off the sidewalks Wednesday morning after overnight snowfall dropped 2 inches of wet, heavy snow and 1.61 inches of moisture on New Ulm.
