Thomas ‘Tom’ Schwarz
NEW?ULM – Thomas “Tom” Schwarz, 85, of New Ulm, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, April 22, 2013.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 26, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Ulm.
Visitation will be 4 8 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 10 a.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm.
Tom is survived by his wife of 62 years, Cecelia Schwarz of New Ulm; daughters, Ginny (Brad) Kalin, Annette (Bob) Broich all of Plymouth, Yvonne (Gary) Lager of North Mankato, Mary Beth (Wayne) Johnson of Cottage Grove; sons, Patrick Schwarz of Redwood, Don (Cathy) Schwarz of Wabasso, Dennis Schwarz, Joel (Kathleen) Schwarz, Gerard Schwarz, all of New Ulm; a daughter-in-law, Bev Schwarz of Windermere, Florida; 22 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine Walerius of Glenwood, Margaret (Don) Schiller of Wabasso; brothers, Bill (Mary) Schwarz of Wabasso, Frank (Margaret) Schwarz of Manassas, Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Jon Schwarz; and by his brother Jerry Schwarz.
