New Ulm competes at Cougar Relays

MANKATO – The New Ulm girls track and field team finished fifth with 31 points and the boys finished fourth with 78 points Thursday at the Mankato East Cougar Relays.

On the boys side, New Ulm was second in the 4×100 relay throwers with a 52.11 and third in the 4×100 relay in 48.89.

The 4×400 relay team was second in 3:41.97 and first in the 4×800 in 8:43.67. The 800 sprint medley short team was third in 1:54.64 and the boys distance medley was first in 3:52.17. The high jump relay was second (20-4) and the shot put relay was third (154-5.5). The discus relay was third in 364-10.

For the girls, New Ulm’s discus relay team was third with a mark of 274-4. New Ulm finished fourth in the 4×100 relay, the 4×200 relay, the 4×400 relay, the 800 sprint medley, the high jump relay and the shot put relay.
