NEW ULM – Esther Walth, 93, of New Ulm died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, June 10 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Burial will follow at the New Ulm City Cemetery in New Ulm.

Esther is survived by her daughters, Donna (Mike) Galvin of Chaska, Diana Walth (Gene Petersen) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Leslie (Pat) Egan of Shorewood, Erik (Susan) Korth of Excelsior, Ginger Galvin of Sarasota, Fla.; and great grandchildren, Riley, Will, Mick, and Eli Egan, and Chase and Bo Henry Korth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calvin; and brother, Helmuth.
Esther Katherine Lammle was born March 11, 1920 at home in South Dakota. She was united in marriage to Calvin Walth. Esther was a volunteer at Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm for 30 years. She was also a member of the quilters club at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and donated many of her quilts to the Brown County Humane Society. Esther enjoyed playing cards, bingo, puzzles, and spending time with her friends and family.
