NEW ULM – Steven Groebner, 65, of New Ulm died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 24, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Pastor Ric Jacobsen officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.

Steven is survived by his father, Norman Groebner of Springfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Darla Wolf of Lomita, Calif., Judith and Vincent Sellner of Sleepy Eye, Mary Groebner-Harris of Madison, Wis., Kate Groebner and Bill Renz of Luck, Wis.; brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Linda Groebner of Andover; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Groebner; and a sister, Christine Groebner.
Steven Charles Groebner was born on Dec. 17, 1947 in New Ulm to Norman and Alice (Berg) Groebner. He had lived in Wheaton, Ill. until 2007 when he moved to New Ulm to take care of his father. Steven enjoyed yard work and maintaining his home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
