Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes pay dividends
NEW?ULM – Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes & Cremation Services recently paid back another set of dividends, according to General Manager Bruce Savoy.
More than $16,5000 was paid to those families who had funeral services with the association in 2012. With this dividend, according to Savoy, a total of almost $75,000 has been paid to members thus far in 2013.
Minnesota Valley Funeral Homes operates as a co-op funeral home, which means its profits are paid back to members that utilize its services as a dividend.
Minnesota Valley has two funeral home locations in New Ulm, a North Chapel and a South Chapel, a funeral home in Nicollet, another in Gibbon and one in Hanska. New Ulm’s North Chapel also has a cremation facility.
Officers on the board of directors are Bob Schabert, president; Dick Lieb, vice president; Jim Flatau, secretary/treasurer; other board members are Dean Wels, Tony Guggisberg, Frank Bianchi and Grace Rubischko.
