Bond bids on District 88 agenda
NEW ULM – During a combined action meeting/study session Thursday, the District 88 Board of Education will consider bids for the sale of bonds to finance parking lot upgrades.
In June, the board approved the sale of $680,000 worth of bonds to fund these projects. The bond term is 14 years.
Proposals for the bonds will be received by 11 a.m. Thursday. The district financial adviser, Springsted, will open the proposals and prepare information for the board meeting. A bid needs to be approved by resolution.
During the study session, the board will begin a conversation about the development of strategic goals.
The board will also hear about team building programs offered by three different vendors, with the potential goal of approving a contract with one at its July 25 meeting.
The board will consider a list of study session topics and meeting format expectations.
The meeting starts at 5 p.m. at the District Administrative Center.
