Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Trout

GAYLORD – Rudolph “Rudy” Trout, 83, of Gaylord, died Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Oak Terrace Health Care Center in Gaylord.

Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Gaylord, with burial in the church cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Rudolph “Rudy” Raymond Trout was born on Feb. 4, 1930, in Winthrop, to Alex and Emma (Martin) Trout.

Rudy served in the U.S. Army from Jan. 19, 1952, to Feb. 29, 1960. He received the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Occupation Medal.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Trout of Gaylord; daughters, Doreen Trout of St. Paul, and Melissa Doom of St. Peter; grandson, Jesse Trout of Clarksville; and brother, Rueben Trout of Gaylord.
