She was baptized, confirmed and married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gibbon. On Sept. 11, 1935 Orpha was united in marriage to Robert Kuester. Orpha and Robert lived and farmed the home place in Wellington Township for many years. In 1962, they moved to Fairfax and Orpha worked at the Nursing Home, as well as at many other jobs. Orpha and Robert enjoyed helping deliver Meals on Wheels. After Roberts passing, Orpha relied on her neighbors to help mow her lawn and keep the sidewalk clean in the winter. She would smile and say they were there before she got up. Orpha was a loving mother, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great-grandma. We will always miss her but keep her in our hearts. She was always a helping hand to all of us when we needed her.
