NUACT announces 2013-2014 Season
NEW?ULM – The New Ulm Actors Community Theatre (NUACT) has set is schedule for 2013-14.
“Inherit the Wind” will be presented Oct. 4, 5, and 6. It is award-winning play about the Scopes “Monkey Trial,” by Jerome Lawrence and Robert Edwin Lee.
“The Chimney Sweep Parade” will take place Oct. 5. NUACT volunteers will march in costume with chimney brooms.
“Rumpelstiltskin” is set for Saturday Oct. 12. It includes a children’s workshop the Saturday before the performance and a public performance for Oktoberfest.
“Hansel & Gretel: on Saturday, Oct. 26. It will be formed by NUACT with a workshop in the morning and a performance in the afternoon in Fairmont at the Red Rock Arts Center.
“History of Beer, Part II” Nov. 9, at Turner Hall.
“The Elves and the Shoemaker” will be performed on Nov. 30 at Christkindlemarkt.
“Dr. Seuss Christmas Carol” is set for Dec. 6-8. It will be NUACT’s annual radio play.
“Who Kidnapped Santa Claus?” – Dec. 7. presented at the Rotary Christmas party at the County Club with limited seats to the public
A Valentine’s Day Show Feb. 14-16, 2014, features a musical dinner/theatre performance at the New Ulm Holiday Inn.
“Murder at Bock Fest” Feb. 28 and March 1, 2014: A tradition of a “WhoDunit” dinner theatre returns to the Grand Kabaret.
A comedy, “The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (Abridged)” will be presented March 14, 15 and 16, 2014.
The season also includes a summer theatre production of “Fiddler on the Roof”?in July 24-27 2014.
Open auditions will be announced for all productions.
