Renville man gets 41 months in prison
OLIVIA – A 22-year-old Renville man was sentenced to 41 months in prison Friday in Renville County District Court for selling methamphetamine twice to a drug task force member in Renville County last fall.
Tanner W. Jarvis was charged with second degree sale of 3 grams or more of cocaine, heroin or meth within a 90-day period. An additional charge of failure to register as a predatory offender was dismissed as part of a plea agreement, according to court documents.
Jarvis failed to give written notice of a new primary address to his corrections agent or law enforcement where he was registered at least five days before he began living at a new primary address, or failed to give written notice to the agent or law enforcement after he moved from his prior address, according to court documents.
