Dist. 84 board to hear curriculum update
SLEEPY EYE – The District 84 Board of Education will receive a curriculum update Thursday from media specialist Nancy Moore and social studies teacher Kevin Schneider.
Board action items include 10 open enrollment “in” requests from New Ulm and one “out” request to Cedar Mountain, the 2012-13 staff development report and certifying the maximum 2013 payable 2014 tax levy pending information being available from the Minnesota Department of Education, 2013-14 snow removal quotes, donations, a Memorandum of Understanding between Sioux Trails Mental Health and Sleepy Eye Public Schools for school-linked mental health services for 2013-14 year, the 2013-15 Minnesota School Employees Association (MSEA) contract and working directives for non-certified staff.
The meeting starts at 7:30 p.m. in the conference room.
