HECTOR – Central Minnesota Christian defeated Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart 25-18, 25-16, 25-14 Monday night in a nonconference volleyball match.

Maddie Ludowese had nine digs for the Mustangs. Ashley Peterson had four aces and Ashley Tintes had six set assists.

BLHS (4-3, 2-0) hosts Wabasso (5-1-2, 2-0) Tuesday.

Mound-Westonka 0

GAYLORD – Sibley East swept Mound-Westonka Monday night in a nonconference volleyball match 25-13, 25-11 and 25-9.

Keilli Martens had 10 kills for the Wolverines. Karley Lind was 9-for-9 serving Megan Krentz had nine kills and two blocks and Katie Tuchtenhagen was 9-for-9 serving with one ace.

Sibley East (8-3, 1-1) hosts Norwood-Young America Thursday night.

Springfield 3,

Mountain Lake Area 1

SPRINGFIELD – Springfield downed Mountain Lake Area 25-10, 20-25, 25-14 and 25-17 Monday night in a nonconference volleyball meet.

Heidi Veenstra had 11 kills for the Tigers. Taylor Milbrath added six kills, Jennie Thorson had 25 set assists and 13 digs. Molly Dunn added 11 digs. Mariah Hoyt was 24-for 25- serving with two aces and Sonja Fiedler was 14-for-15 serving with three aces.

Springfield (3-1, 2-0) travels to Morgan to play Cedar Mountain/Comfrey (0-6, 0-2) Tuesday.

Redwood Valley 3,

REDWOOD FALLS-Redwood Valley defeated Cedar Mountain/Comfrey 25-15, 25-8, 25-22 Monday night in a nonconference volleyball match.

Andrea Ochs was 6-for-6 serving with one ace and six digs. Victoria Hardwick had five kills, Natalie Hoffbeck had 12 set assists and Courtney Nelson had eight digs for the Cougars.

CM/C (0-6, 0-2) hosts Springfield Tuesday.

Wabasso 3, Lakeview 1

WABASSO – Wabasso defeated Lakeview 25-18, 23-25, 25-12, 25-22 Monday night in nonconference volleyball action.

Larissa Rohlik was 19-for-20 serving with three aces, and 14 set assists. Morgan Frank was 20-for-21 serving with two aces, 15 kills and six blocks. Chelsey Guetter was 19-for 20 serving with 10 kills, four blocks and 14 digs. Jocelyn Rothmeier had 11 set assists for Wabasso.

Wabasso (8-1, 2-0) travels to play Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Tuesday.
