BLHS 3, Wabasso 0

HECTOR – Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart defeated Wabasso 25-17, 33-31, 25-20 in Tomahawk Conference volleyball action Tuesday.

BLHS was led by Hannah VanderVoort’s nine kills and 10 digs and Ashley Peterson had 13 set assists.

Chelsey Guetter had 14 kills and 22 digs and Larissa Rohlik had 18 set assists.

BLHS (5-4, 3-0 Tomahawk) hosts Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s on Thursday and Wabasso (8-2) hosts Springfield on Thursday.

New Ulm 3, St. Peter 1

ST. PETER – New Ulm defeated St. Peter in a South Central Conference volleyball match-up Tuesday, 25-19, 27-25, 22-25, 26-24.

New Ulm’s Katie Forst had five solo blocks and two assisted. Forst added 16 digs. Ellie Schneider had seven kills. Tori Botten had 14 set assists and Chase Schewe had 17 digs.

New Ulm (6-5) will host St. James Thursday.

CM/C 3, Springfield 2

MORGAN – Cedar Mountain/Comfrey defeated Springfield 18-25, 19-25, 25-22, 25-10, 15-13 in Tomahawk Conference volleyball Tuesday.

For the Cougars, Victoria Hardwick had nine kills and Courtney Nelson had 11 kills and 10 digs. Andrea Ochs had 18 digs and Natalie Hoffbeck had 32 set assists. Karlianna Kelly had eight blocks.

For the Tigers, Mariah Hoyt had 18 digs and Taylor Milbrath had 11 kills. Heidi Veenstra had 11 kills and Jenny Thorson had 36 set assists. Amanda Rogotzke had 19 digs.

Springfield (3-2) is at Wabasso on Thursday and CM/C (1-9) hosts Sleepy Eye Thursday.

MCW 3, Madelia 0

MADELIA – Martin County West defeated Madelia 25-16, 25-12, 25-15 in Valley Conference volleyball action Tuesday.

Sarah Haynes and Mari De La Cruz each had two kills for Madelia and Taylor Thomas had five set assists. Katie Osborne had 32 digs and Katie Thompson had 18 digs.

The Blackhawks (3-8, 0-3 Valley) host Alden-Conger on Thursday.
