St. Peter girls defeat New Ulm in soccer

ST. PETER – St. Peter defeated New Ulm in overtime in a South Central Conference girls soccer game Tuesday.

New Ulm’s Claire Boeder had 21 saves. Bridgette Brown had a first half unassisted goal and Nicole Moldstad added an unassisted goal in the second half to tie the game at two apiece as the clock winded down.

New Ulm had 13 shots against St. Peter, but came up short in overtime.

New Ulm (5-7 overall) will host Mankato Loyola Thursday.
