Planning panel OKs applications
NEW ULM – The Brown County Planning Commission approved the renewal of three conditional use permits Tuesday in Cottonwood, Bashaw and Sigel townships.
Commissioners approved: Loren and Yvonne Gag’s application for the continued use of a 320-foot high tower for the transmission and reception of cellular telephone signals in the I-1 Limited Industrial Zoning District, Section 4 of Cottonwood Township.
Tews Farms Inc. to continue to allow up to 9a90 animal units in a beef-finishing operation in the A-1 Agricultural Protection Zone of Section 19, Bashaw Township.
Larry and Debra Fischer to continue to allow up to 700 animal units of beef steers in a beef-finishing operation in the A-1 district, Section 30, Sigel Township.
Preliminary plats for single-lot splits by John and Barbara Garrioch, Section 23, Eden Township; and Scott Schimschock on Government Lots 14 and 17, Section 19, Milford Township. Property being platted are currently existing homesteads being split from tillable ground.
Recommendations will be considered by Brown County commissioners at about 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 15. The next planning commission meeting is Tuesday, Nov. 12.
