First snow is reminder of coming winter

An early November weather system dumped 2 1/2 inches of snow in the New Ulm area on Tuesday evening and early Wednesday. The snow clung to branches that are barren of leaves and nestled among the needles of evergreen trees in this spot near Klossner. A high in the upper 30s today will be followed by warmer temperatures on Friday and Saturday.
