WINTHROP – Lois Peters, 77, of Winthrop died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Winthrop.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at the First Lutheran Church in Winthrop with Pastor David Winterfeldt officiating. Burial will be in the Delft Cemetery in Delft.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the First Lutheran Church in Winthrop and will continue for one hour prior to the time of service at the church on Tuesday. Lois is survived by her husband, Henry Peters of Winthrop; daughter and son-in-law, Betty and John, Sr. Moore of Akeley; grandchildren, Tiffany Simonette, Jamie (Randy) Richmond, John Moore, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Haylee, Isabella, Savannah; a sister, Carol Schroeder of Leesville, South Carolina, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Lois Ann Kintzi was born on Feb. 22, 1936 in St. James to Ludwig and Marie (Schutz) Kintzi. She graduated from St. James High School in 1954. On Sept. 4, 1956 she was united in marriage to Henry Peters in St. James. Lois enjoyed cooking, fishing, all sports, and was an avid Twins fan. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Winthrop.
