REDWOOD FALLS – New Ulm prevailed in a nonconference gymnastics meet Tuesday night as it defeated Redwood Valley.

Emily Gulden of New Ulm finished in first place in the All-Around competition with a score of 33.4. Molly Klimek was second with a 32.775 and Michaela Howk was third with a score of 32.275.

Howk finished first in the vault with an 8.75. Klimek was second at 8.625 and Allison Rosenhammer was third with an 8.6.

Klimek was first on the bars with an 8.3, Gulden second at 8.175 and Howk was third at 7.95.

Gulden was first on the beam with 8.275, Rosenhammer was second with a 7.85 and Howk was third with a 7.475.

Gulden was first in the floor exercise with an 8.65, Klimek was second with an 8.6 and Rosenhammer was third with an 8.5.

New Ulm (2-1) will travel to Blue Earth Area to compete in its first South Central Conference meet on Jan. 3.
