SPRINGFIELD – Redwood Valley defeated Springfield in nonconference boy’s basketball on Monday.

Tyler Vogel led the Tigers with 13 points and Cooper Scheffler scored 11 points. Springfield (4-7) hosts Sleepy Eye on Friday.

St. James 46

SLEEPY EYE – Sleepy Eye defeated St. James in noncoference girl’s basketball on Monday.

Josie Schieffert had 24 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocks for the Indians and Sarah Ibarra had 13 points and six rebounds. McKayla Ahrich had 11 points and eight rebounds. Julia Beckius led St. James with 17 points.

Sleepy Eye (7-6) hosts Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on Tuesday.

Wabasso 62

WABASSO – Cedar Mountain/Comfrey defeated Wabasso in Tomahawk Conference boy’s basketball on Monday.

Neil Eichten led Wabasso with 27 points and Javin Larsen scored 23 for the Cougars. Chandler Rose scored 21 for CM/C. CM/C hosts New Ulm Cathedral on Friday.

RV girls 72, Springfield 58

REDWOOD FALLS – Redwood Valley defeated Springfield in nonconference girl’s basketball on Monday.

Joeli Arnoli and Therese Roiger had 13 points each for the Tigers. Springfield (4-5) is at Windom on Thursday.
