City survey being mailed to New Ulm residents
NEW?ULM – The City of New Ulm is sending out a survey to 300 randomly selected residents to obtain their opinions on the quality of municipal services.
The survey participants were selected from a list only showing street addresses. A random number generator was used to select the addresses. The survey envelope will use a street address without listing the person living at the address. Three will be 75 surveys from each ward.
The survey seeks to help determine if the perception of the quality of municipal services is different by the ward in which the resident lives. A self-addressed, postage-paid envelope will be included to assist the participant in returning the survey.
The survey should take approximately 2-3 minutes to complete. In 2012, the return rate was more than 60 percent.
If your address was selected, a survey should arrive by Jan. 20. The surveys are requested to be returned by March 1, 2014, with results presented to the City Council at its April 1 meeting.
