William “Bill” Davison
NEW ULM – William “Bill” Davison, 91, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Ginger Viola of St. James and formerly of New Ulm; sons, Steven Davison of Hilo, Hawaii and James (Deb) Davison of Reno, Nevada; grandchildren, Jon Davison, Amy Arndt, Shawn Wilfahrt, Christopher Schneider; sister, Marge Reese of Mankato; and by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and by his wife, Gladys “Pat” Davison on August 31, 1997.
William Claire Davison was born on April 26, 1922 in Meadow Grove, Nebraska to Arthur and Leopal (Hawkins) Davison. He graduated from Madelia High School and then went on to serve for six years with the United States Navy. On November 14, 1946, Bill was united in marriage to Gladys “Pat” Madden in Mobile, Alabama. Bill worked at Armor Meats and New Ulm Wholesale in New Ulm. He was a member of the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Post 132 in New Ulm.
