Balge, Lease win Triple A Award
NEW ULM – Martha Balge and Chad Lease have been selected by Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School to receive the Triple A Award and represent themselves and their school at the Minnesota State High School League’s Subsection level The Triple A Award recognizes and honors high school seniors who have excelled in the classroom, on the athletic field and in the fine arts. The Triple A Award elevate academic standards and creates greater awareness of League-sponsored activities and their values. It also provides member schools with the opportunity to participate in a statewide program that supports, promotes and recognizes academic and co-curricular achievements.
Balge is the daughter of Daneil and Bethel Balge of New Ulm. She has participated in the MVL choir all four years, including the Chargaliers, and is an accomplished piano player. She has participated in soccer since 9th grade, and track and field. She plans on attending Martin Luther College.
Lease, the son of Pat and Lynn Lease, has participated in Choir, in four years in football, basketball and baseball.
