WABASSO – Sleepy Eye St.?Mary’s had four players score in double figures as the Knights defeated Wabasso in Tomahawk Conference boy’s basketball action Friday night.

Payton Adams led the Knights with 17 points while Mike Hirsch and John Brandl each scored 15. Jared Rothmeier finished with 14 for the Knights.

Wabasso was led by Neil Eichten’s 35 points and Tanner Bock’s 16 points and 22 rebounds.

St. Mary’s hosts Minnesota Valley Lutheran on Monday and Wabasso is at Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart on Monday.

Redwood Valley 60,

Windom 56

REDWOOD FALLS -Redwood Valley nipped Windom on Friday night in a Southwest Conference boys basketball game.

Sam Pendleton led the Cardinals with 31 points and Mitchell Fischer added 11 points.

Redwood Valley (13-4, 7-2) will play at New Ulm on Monday night.

Springfield 82, New Ulm Cathedral 63

SPRINGFIELD – Springfield downed New Ulm Cathedral on Friday night in a Tomahawk Conference boys basketball game.

Carter Erickson led Springfield with 25 points, Tyler Vogel scored 20 points Kale Meendering added 17 points and Nick Runck scored 13 points.

Collin Helget led the Greyhounds with 22 points and Mike Skillings added 17 points.

Springfield (8-8-7-3) will play at Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on Monday.

MVL 78, Sleepy Eye 74

SLEEPY EYE – Minnesota Valley Lutheran defeated Sleepy Eye on Friday night in a Tomahawk Conference boy’s basketball game.

Eric Westphal and Nick Dewanz each scored 17 points for the Chargers.

Brandon Polesky scored 40 points, had 10 rebounds and eight assists. Juan Montemayer scored 13 points while Austin Trebesh added 11 points.

Sleepy Eye (5-13, 2-9) will host Cedar Mountain/Comfrey on Monday.

MVL will play at Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Monday.
