Kenneth “Kenny” Bemmels
FAIRFAX – Kenneth “Kenny” Bemmels, 63, of Fairfax, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis.
Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 10, at the United Methodist Church in Fairfax, with a private burial at a later date. Military Honors by the Fairfax Honor Guard.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Bemmels was born on Feb. 28, 1950, in Sleepy Eye to Edward and Floriene (VonEschen) Bemmels. Kenny served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Ronda Bemmels of Fairfax; children, Ranae Evenson of Andover, Cory Case of Fairfax, and Patrick Case-Bemmels of Andover; three grandchildren; mother, Floriene Bemmels Miklos of Fairfax; and brothers, Jerry Bemmels of Redwood Falls, and Bob Bemmels of Andover.
