New Ulm girl’s hockey fan bus available for all fans

NEW ULM – Anyone who wishes to travel to the Xcel Energy Center for the New Ulm girl’s hockey team’s trip to the state tournament next Wednesday may do so by signing up for the Eagles’ fan bus.

The Eagles open the Class A state tournament at 1 p.m. Wednesday against Red Wing at Xcel Energy Center.

The signup for the fan bus must be done online no later than 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Cost for the fan bus is $25 for students and $31 for adults. Both include a ticket to the game.

Students from all schools within the girl’s hockey co-op – New Ulm Cathedral, Minnesota Valley Lutheran, Sleepy Eye and Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s – are eligible to sign up for the fan bus. The bus will leave from door No. 5 at New Ulm High School 2 1/2 hours before game time. There must be 40 people signed up for the fan bus in order for it to be able to go.

First-round tickets will be available for purchase on their own until 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

All purchases and signup can be done in the Eagle Shop and only online purchases will be accepted on the left-hand side of the NUHS home page.
