Drug Task Force arrests Springfield couple
REDWOOD COUNTY – Following an extensive investigation, the Brown-Lyon-Redwood-Renville County Drug Task Force arrested a Springfield couple Wednesday for felony 1st degree sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit first degree sale.
Latasha N. Adoga, 32, and Curtis M. Gould, 49, met with Task Force undercover officers at the Sanborn British Petroleum (BP) station Wednesday, selling them one ounce of cocaine for $2,200, according to a Redwood County Sheriff’s Office news release. Adoga was immediately arrested by nearby officers. Gould was later located at his residence at 20 W. Maple St. in Springfield and arrested.
Both suspects appeared in Redwood County Court Friday. Adoga’s bail was set at $80,000 without conditions, $60,000 with conditions. Gould’s bail was set at $40,000 without conditions and $20,000 with conditions. Their next court appearance is set for 9 a.m., Monday, March 3.
The Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, Springfield Police and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) assisted the Drug Task Force.
