GAYLORD-Daryl Moses, 83, of Gaylord, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Center in Arlington.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 1, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gaylord with burial in the Gaylord Municipal Cemetery. Military Honors by the Manthey-Asmus American Legion Post 433.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 28, and 7:30-8 a.m., Saturday, March 1, at Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Daryl Dean Moses was born on Nov. 27, 1930, in Madelia, Minn., to Harry and Lorna (Stolt) Moses. He served in the U.S.Army from February 1952 until February 1954 during the Korean War. He received the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Service Stars, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Moses of Gaylord; children, Tom Moses of Hutchinson, Patrick Moses of New Auburn, Mark Moses of Sauk Rapids, John Moses of Eden Prairie, Kathryn Blazinski of Silver Lake, and Robert Moses of Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Merle Moses of Mankato.
