SEHS presents ‘Little Women’ this weekend

SLEEPY?EYE – Sleepy Eye High School presents “Little Women” at 7 p.m., Friday, March 7; 7 p.m., Saturday, March 8; and 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 9 on the high school gym stage.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s own family experiences and her novel about issues relevant now, the musical follows the adventures of the four March sisters – Jo (Bethany Seifert), Meg (Hanna Sellner), Beth (Lauren Laffen) and Amy (McKenzie Cselovszki) as they grow up in Civil War America while their father is serving as a Union Army chaplain.

The production brings to life a musical experience with laughter, tears and spirit-uplifting mingled with personal discovery, heartache and hope.
