NEW?ULM – Josephine Hacker, 83, of New Ulm, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at her home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Monsignor John A. Richter officiating.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home NORTH CHAPEL in New Ulm .

Josephine is survived by her sons, Peter (Pat) Hacker of Shreveport, Louisiana, Don (Judy) Hacker of New Ulm; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and by a sister-in-law, Ingried Kenner of Nuremburg, Germany.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Hacker; and by her brother, Heinz Kenner.
Josephine Kenner was born March 17, 1930 in Nuremburg, Germany to Franc and Mine (Mendl) Kenner. She came to the United States in 1956. Josephine was united in marriage to Willard Hacker in 1959. After marriage they farmed near Lafayette, and she also was employed at the Lafayette Good Samaritan Home in Lafayette. She loved travelling, knitting, going to garage sales and spending time with friends.
