NICOLLET – Roger Rosin, 79, of Nicollet, died Tuesday, March 18, 2014, at the Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, at the St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Burial will be in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery rural Nicollet.
Visitation will be 5 7 p.m. Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in Nicollet and will continue on Saturday for one hour prior to the time of service at the church.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; a resident at the Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato; sons, Rick Rosin, Dan Rosin all of Nicollet, and Kirk Rosin of Mankato; eight grandchildren; sister, Alice Schlaak of New Richland; and brother Elmer Rosin of New Ulm.
Roger was born at home on the family farm in Nicollet Township, Nicollet County on November 30, 1934 to Edward and Marie (Truebenbach) Rosin.
Memorials to the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or to donors choice are preferred.
