Services set for RRC superintendent
LAMBERTON – A celebration of life service for Red Rock Central Superintendent John Brennan will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, at the RRC auditorium. A visitation starts at noon. People are asked to enter the school through the south entrance.
Brennan died Tuesday night, March 25, at his home. He had attended a school concert earlier in the evening.
He had been superintendent Red Rock Central Schools for the past 15 years. While at Red Rock Central, He was named an Administrator of Excellence by the MASA. During his tenure, Red Rock Elementary was acknowledged by Standard and Poor’s as an academic “out-performing” school, and Red Rock High School was named by U.S News and World Report as one of the top 100 high schools in the nation and was also cited as being one of the top 10 high schools in Minnesota.
Brennan donated his body to science, according to a RRC administrator.
