WINTHROP – Kenneth Voss, 82, of Winthrop, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the Birchwood House in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, April 26, at First Lutheran Church in Winthrop with burial in the Winthrop Cemetery. Military Honors by the Winthrop Honor Guard.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m., Friday, April 25, at Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
Kenneth William Voss was born on Sept. 13, 1931, in Glencoe, Minn., to Ernest and Lillian (Wuethrich) Voss.
He was drafted into the United States Army on Feb. 5, 1953, and served his country during the Korean War, serving 16 months in Korea. He received an Honorable discharge on Feb. 5, 1955.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Voss of Winthrop; children, Patricia Voss of Shakopee, and Bradley Voss of Winthrop; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Carol Stephenson.
