Forum on changing demographics set April 30
NEW?ULM – The League of Women Voters of New Ulm is hosting a community forum on changing demographics at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 30, at the New Ulm Public Library.
The two-hour forum will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Gail Gilman-Waldner representing the Minnesota River Area Agency on Aging. Waldner will provide demographic information and an overview of the areas related to the changing elderly population.
Several other presenters will provide an overview of their work as related to the senior citizen population.
These presenters include Community and Seniors Together (CAST), Brown County, New Ulm Medical Center, New Ulm Retail Development, Outreach Ministry of St. Mary’s Church, Oak Hills Living Center and City Councilor Ruth Ann Webster.
There will be a question-and-answer period.
The forum will be broadcast live on NUCAT and KNUJ.
