Eagles compete at Cougar Relays

MANKATO – The New Ulm boy’s and girl’s track and field teams competed at the Cougar Relays at Mankato East.

The New Ulm girls finished eighth with 83 points and the New Ulm boyswere seventh with 95 points.

On the boy’s side, New Ulm took fifth in the long jump relay with a mark of 67-feet-.25 inches. New Ulm also took fourth in the pole vault relay with a mark of 33-feet and fourth in the shot put relay with (151-7.75).

New Ulm had a personal record in the 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1:35.97 and the Eagles took third in the distance medley (long) in 9:29.41. New Ulm also took third in the distance medley (medium) with a time of 3:51.8.

On the girl’s side, New Ulm was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles relay (1:21.49) and third in the 800-sprint medley (short) in 2:07.15. New Ulm was also sixth in the distance medley in 11:19.61 and fifth in the 1,600 sprint medley standard (4:47.94).

New Ulm finished sixth in the 300-hurdles relay in 3:49.77 and third in the high jump relay (17-10).

The Eagles also finished fifth in the pole vault relay (19-6) and fourth in the discus relay (291-3) and shot put relay (106-1.5).

New Ulm competes in the Section 2AA True Team meet on Tuesday in Faribault.
