NEW ULM – Norman Wolf, 91, of New Ulm died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at his home.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, NORTH CHAPEL, in New Ulm with Deacon Steve Spilman officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery, Soldier’s Rest Section. Full Military Honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the New Ulm Area Comrades of Valor Honor Guard.

Norman is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Larry Raymond of Fairfield Bay, Ark., Betsy and Ed Johannes of Motley; sons and daughter-in-law, George and Toni Wolf of Albuquerque, N.M., Jerry Wolf of New Ulm; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Liebesch of St. Paul; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy and Cathy Wolf of Bloomington, Hansy and Delores Wolf of Prescott, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marie Wolf on Oct. 4, 2007; two infant sons; one infant daughter; one sister; four brothers.
Norman Alfred Wolf was born on July 31, 1922 in New Ulm to Louis and Hertha (Macho) Wolf. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942 to 1946 during WWII. On Sept. 20, 1947 he was united in marriage to Marie Faerber. They lived in New Ulm and he was employed at Auto Electric, Clauss Auto, 3M, Knopke Auto, and New Ulm Motors. Norman loved hunting, fishing, and fixing cars. He was a member of D.A.V. Chapter #15 in New Ulm.
