BLUE EARTH – New Ulm crushed Blue Earth Area on Friday in South Central Conference baseball action.

Tyler Dittrich was the winning pitcher. He went three innings, gave up six hits and three runs. Bailey Batt pitched two innings. He gave up one run and two hits, with one walk and he struck out four.

Dittrich was 2-for-3 from the plate with a home run and three RBIs.

Grant Kanneigesser was 2-for-3 with a double and five RBIs. Chase Meyer was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and Brach Kraus was 3-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

New Ulm (14-3, 7-1) will host St. Peter at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mueller Park.

C/CM 6, RRC 3

WESTBROOK – Comfrey/Cedar Mountain won its fourth game in a row by downing Red Rock Central on Friday in nonconference baseball action.

Mitch Treml was the winning pitcher. He went five innings, gave up two runs, five hits, struck out six and walked one.

Taylor Bunting was the losing pitcher. He pitched six innings, gave up six runs, 10 hits and struck out four.

Andrew Richter went 3-for-3 for C/M with two walks while Austin Windschitl went 2-for-4.

C/CM (6-11) will play at Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop in a doubleheader at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in Fairfax.
