Fischer files for re-election to council
NEW?ULM – Lisa Fischer, the incumbent in Ward 2 on the New Ulm City Council, has filed for re-election.
Fischer was appointed to the council in May 2012 to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Todd Olson.
She then ran unopposed for the remainder of Olson’s term in the November 2012 election. She is a former employee of the New Ulm Public Utilities.
Filings continue through Tuesday, June 3. Candidates can file for office at the New Ulm City Hall.
Councilor Ken RockVam has filed for re-election in Ward 4. Mayor Bob Beussman has also file for re-election.
