Beacon hires Forstner
as customer service manager
Beacon Promotions has hired Carrie Forstner as customer service manager. She has 15 years of experience in the promotional products industry and has worked in many areas of the business. She will lead the Customer Service and Order Entry teams.

It offers a products, such as calendars, table covers, drinkware, bags, housewares, tools, auto accessories, writing instruments, name badges, Canyon Leather goods, Senator pens and name brand product lines for executive gifts and incentives.
Reinke, Jaspersen honored by Thrivent
Financial for outstanding performance
NEW ULM Tim Reinke, FIC, MBA, New Ulm, lead financial consultant with Thrivent Financial, and Dennis Jaspersen, FIC, LUTCF, FSS, New Ulm, a financial associate with Thrivent Financial, have qualified to attend the Peak Performers conference. Out of about 2,300 Thrivent Financial representatives nationwide, 640 individuals qualified for this honor.
Reinke and Jaspersen are with Thrivent Financial’s Two Rivers Regional Financial Office. They serve members in New Ulm and surrounding communities.
Reinke has been with Thrivent Financial for eight years. He has been recognized for his performance four times.
Jaspersen has been with Thrivent Financial 33 years and has been recognized for his performance 31 times.
United Prairie CFO to speak at Fiserv Forum
United Prairie Bank Chief Financial Officer, Jeff Weldon, was a featured speaker at the Fiserv Forum in Las Vegas in May.
Fiserv is one of the world’s largest providers of technology solutions to financial institutions. The forum showcases the latest banking technology and innovations available to the financial services industry.
Weldon’s informational session focuses on using client preferences to build banking products that will increase customer loyalty in utilizing electronic-based payments. United Prairie Bank recently launched a new line of consumer checking accounts. A significant investment of time and technology was made to identify key features and benefits that customers wanted in checking accounts.

Greater Minnesota’ by Star Tribune
Brau Brothers Brewery of Marshall has been named to the Star Tribune’s 2014 Best of Minnesota list in the category of “Best Taproom in Greater Minnesota.”
