HANSKA – Marlene Schaefer, 74, of Hanska, died Monday, June 2, 2014, at Ridgeway on German in New Ulm.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 6, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hanska with Pastor Salim Kaderbhai officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Marlene is survived by her children, Kimberly (Gary) Lester of Orange Park, FL, and Todd Schaefer of Winona; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Virginia (Douglas) Ringnell of Sherburn, Kathleen (Robert) Meinert of Winnebago, Steven (Judy) Anderson of New Ulm; brother-in-law, Dennis (Kathy) Schaefer of WI; sisters-in-law, Alice Brudelie and Myra Schaefer both of New Ulm; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Schaefer on October 2, 2010; brother, Mitchell Anderson; brothers-in-law, Erwin, Delbert and Roy; sisters-in-law, Elaine and Norma.
